Located on the outskirts of Davangere, on
Davangere-Harihara road, about 260kms from Bangalore in South India.
RASMI is a unique institution that is devoted to bringing hope into the lives of
young girls. Established in the year1999 as a residential school for young girls
from poverty stricken families, it has been cradling a silent revolution in the
surroundings of Davangere. Managed under the auspicious of Dr.D.Parwathappa
Memorial trust, this school is the effort of one socially conscious family to
provide free basic education to young girls who would otherwise be doomed to a
life of illiteracy and ignorance.
